Delaware River

The Delaware River is the longest and largest freshwater river in New Jersey. Some of the most popular sections for kayaking are in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area.

Delaware River #1: Worthington State Forest to Delaware Water Gap

Launch at the concrete ramp in the Worthington State Forest Campground. Paddle downriver to the Gap.

Delaware River #2: Delaware Water Gap to Columbia

Launch at the Delaware Water Gap and paddle downriver to Columbia. One cannot land on the NJ side, so land in Portland PA, then walk over the footbridge to Columbia.
