Silver Lake
Silver Lake (21 acres) is in Hardyston Township, Sussex County. It is in the Hamburg Mountain Wildlife Management Area. Most of the lake is shallow, so tends to be weed-covered by mid-summer. The lake is pretty, and very wild.
May Paddle
Most of the lake was open water, as it was before the weeds had fully grown.
September Paddle
Most of the lake was covered with impenetrable weeds. But the beavers had made channels through the vegetation, which one could use to explore.
