Paulinskill Lake

Paulinskill Lake (250 acres) is in Hampton Township, Sussex County. It is divided into three sections by bridges. The lower section is private property, so no kayaking. The middle and upper sections are in the Paulinskill River Wildlife Management Area. They are quite different in character. The only launch site is near Plotts Bridge.

To call Paulinskill Lake pretty is a gross mischaracterization. On a nice day, it is sublime.

Top Section

The top section is long and narrow. From the launch site, the only way to enter is to scoot under the bridge.
