Junction Road Pond

Getting There

There is no trail to the pond. To visit, park in the Paulinskill Access parking lot on Junction Road. Walk up the road for one hundred yards - until one sees a short trail on the right. Take this trail up to the Paulinskill Valley Trail. Walk up the rail-trail for approximately five hundred yards - until one sees a large rock (about the size of a small truck) on your right. Start walking up the hill - veering slightly to the left/east. The pond is just over the ridge (i.e. on the top of the hill). The best launch site is near the dam at the eastern end of the pond.
